Between Countries, Coffee Cups, and Crazy Days: Welcome to Ciao Mama Codes ✨
From toddler snack times to late-night client calls, Ciao Mama Codes was born between countries, coffee cups, and messy days. It’s where motherhood, expat life, and building a digital business meet — real, unfiltered, and a little chaotic in the best way.

Somewhere between my son’s third snack of the morning and my second cup of coffee, I realized my life had completely changed.
Not too long ago, I was deep in the corporate world — first as a market analyst, then as a business advisor at an online travel agency. My days were filled with reports, strategy meetings, and market trends.
It was a good life in many ways, but I felt an itch for something different — something more creative, more flexible, and more mine.
Today, I’m running Studio VN, my own digital business, from home — while living abroad with my Italian husband and our multilingual toddler.
He currently speaks in a charming mix of Italian, Hungarian, and English… plus a few words he’s invented himself. We recently spent time in Italy and Hungary, and it’s amazing how much he blossomed — picking up new words, sounds, and confidence.
Yes, there’s a bit of speech delay because we raise him in multiple languages, but seeing him absorb our family’s cultures in such a natural way makes me deeply proud.
And somewhere between toddler snack times, international travel, and client calls, Ciao Mama Codes was born. 💕
Why I Started this blog
When I left my corporate career, it wasn’t just about switching jobs — it was about changing my entire way of living.
I had zero tech background when I decided to learn coding, web design, and digital tools. It was intimidating at first, but step by step, I built up my skills and eventually created Studio VN — a business I could run from anywhere in the world.
But as much as I love tech, the real story I want to share here is the life behind it — the messy, beautiful, unpredictable mix of motherhood, cultural diversity, business dreams, and everyday challenges.
Ciao Mama Codes is the place where those worlds meet.
It’s not a polished “look-how-perfect-my-life-is” blog. It’s a real, unfiltered space where I can share:
- How I navigate motherhood across borders.
- What it’s like to raise a child with three languages at home.
- The lessons I’ve learned starting a business from scratch in a new country.
- And the honest truth about what works — and what doesn’t — in balancing it all.
Life with a Toddler at Home
If you’ve ever tried to brainstorm a business plan while your toddler insists on stacking building blocks on your laptop, you know the art of mental multitasking.
When my son is home, work takes on a different rhythm. I’ve learned to adapt — and actually, some of my best ideas have come from these imperfect, interrupted days.
Here’s what helps me survive and even thrive on those days:
- Mini creative sessions — I work in bursts: jotting down ideas during snack prep, answering emails while he’s building towers, sketching content outlines during nap time. Removing the pressure for perfection makes everything more doable.
- Toddler “collaborations” — I give my son his own mini “projects” so he feels part of my world. Sometimes that’s coloring, other times it’s building block “cities” next to my desk. Watching his creativity often sparks mine.
- Non-negotiable breaks — Instead of pushing through, I stop. We dance in the living room, go for a walk, or read a book. Breaks recharge us both — and often, solutions to problems appear when I’m not forcing them.
- Letting go of the guilt — Some days, the house is messy, the work list is half-done, and dinner is takeout. And that’s fine. We don’t need to “do it all” every day to still be great moms.
